The writer is Osei Chris Kofi. I have three strong passions in life — football, blogging and movies — in that order. I love spending time with friends talking about the important things in life and hate nothing more than ‘authority’ and hypocrisy. My personal believe in life is that once an individual sets his/her mind to achieve something, it is totally possible. And oh!, I am a strong Lannister, because I always pay my debt. You can describe him as a ‘refined’ pastor and you will certainly not be too far from the truth because according to the founder and head pastor of God’s Solution Center, Rev. Dr. Danso Abbeam Amponsah, it will be a very big mistake on his part if he decides to condemn the taking of alcohol.

Speaking on the ‘Uncut’ show after he arrived in Ghana recently from the United Kingdom, the man of God revealed that it is very difficult to solely stand on the Bible and state that people should not drink alcohol. He made the point that the Bible on various occasions gave contradictory commentary when it was speaking about the drinking of alcohol and even the act of committing murder.

Dr. Danso started that whereas they are instances when the Bible categorically stated that alcohol was bad, there are also other times, it prescribed for people.

On the medical perceptive too, the chancellor of Abbeam Institute of Technology stated that there are some drugs in the market today which have alcohol in them for which reason he can’t tell people categorically that alcohol is bad.
