Ghanaian actress and producer, Tracey Boakye has contributed her widow’s mite following the outbreak of coronavirus in Ghana.

The ‘Baby Mama’ producer donated face masks, hand sanitizers and other items to the Lekma Hospital in Accra.

She told Zion Felix in an interview on the ‘Uncut Show’ that she took this decision after she received numerous messages about some nurses not having Personal Protection Equipments in the midst of the deadly COVID-19 occurrence.

The officials at the Lekma Hospital thanked Tracey Boakye for her gesture and asked God’s blessings upon her life.

They disclosed that the hospital has not recorded any coronavirus case as at the time Tracey made the donation.

When the actress was asked why she is not helping other people outside Accra, she said she was willing to do that but the lockdown in Accra, Kumasi and other places won’t give her the avenue.

Tracey revealed her readiness to support some needy people through Mobile Money donations to aid them through the lockdown period.
