CEO Of Media Excel Production, Kwasi Ernest who has been producing and managing gospel musicians for years now broke down in tears on Thursday, June 22 at his office when a surprise birthday party was organised for him on his 46th birthday.
The man who always want to be called Dr Ernest after few close friends in the industry met for the event could not hold back his tears when he opened his mouth to talk. The manager of SP Kofi Sarpong whilst crying said he has picked several gospel musicians from zero and made them heroes in the country but most of them turn their back on him whenever things start to go well for them.
The sorrowful birthday man continued that he has always wanted to stop the music production and artiste management job but his love and passion for it do not allow him.
“I’ve given too much for humanity but I’ve gotten nothing in return. I made sacrifices for my musicians but I’ll end up becoming the bad person. I want to give up…It is not my fault; I want to make them happy. I’m not a bad person” Kwasi Ernest said when crying.
Gospel musicians SP Kofi Sarpong and Abena Ruthy who were around went closer and consoled him. Media personalities and musicians Zionfelix.net saw at the surprise birthday party aside SP Kofi Sarpong and Abena Ruthy who are currently signed on Media Excel Production were Joyce Blessing, movie producer Ola Kwaku Michael, Sokoo Hemaa of Rainbow Radio, KMJ of Hitz FM, Mr. Handsome of Top FM, Papa Bills of Adom FM, Kojo Preko of Kasapa FM and many others.
Kwasi Ernest has managed and produced great gospel musicians like Bernice Offeir, Ohemaa Mercy, Rev Yawson, Joyce Blessing, Stella Seal and many others.
