Ghanaian media personality and entrepreneur Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise financial support for Ghanaian musician Barosky, who has been found living on the streets in Manchester, United Kingdom.

The move comes after media personality and radio presenter Nana Romeo drew public attention to the musician’s difficult circumstances following an encounter with him in Manchester.

Nana Romeo, who currently hosts the Ekwanso Dwoodwoo drive-time show on Okay FM, shared a video of his encounter with Barosky on his Facebook page in the early hours of Sunday, August 23, 2026.

In the video, Nana Romeo is seen sitting with the musician at a roadside location surrounded by bushes. He revealed that the area where they were seated was reportedly where Barosky currently sleeps.

The interaction further suggested that Barosky is surviving partly through the kindness of individuals who offer him money to buy food.

Concerned about the situation, Nana Romeo appealed to individuals and organisations to come to the musician’s aid, stressing that the circumstances surrounding Barosky’s current life were troubling.

Following the attention generated by Nana Romeo’s video, Delay has now taken a further step by setting up a fundraising campaign to help the former musician get back on his feet.

Announcing the initiative on her X page, Delay wrote: “Hi, I started this fundraiser, LET’S HELP BAROSKY GET ON HIS FEET AGAIN, on GoFundMe and it would mean a lot to me if you’d be able to share or donate to it.”

The GoFundMe campaign has a target of approximately £5,500, with the aim of providing Barosky with financial assistance as efforts are made to improve his current circumstances.
