Ghanaian DJ and musician, DJ Azonto, whose real name is Mark Kwesi Arthur, has been making headlines recently for his unconventional fashion.

DJ Azonto‘s daring and weird fashion statements, including wearing women’s clothes, pink lipstick, and even pampers when he mounts the stage to perform, have left many questioning his eccentric style.

The backlash increased after DJ Azonto decided to storm the United Kingdom for the Ghana Music Awards UK, which was sponsored by Taabea Bitter on October 7th, 2023, at the prestigious Royal Regency in ladies’ clothes once again.

In a candid with Zionfelix in the UK, DJ Azonto addressed the controversy surrounding his fashion choices.

He wasted no time in expressing his indifference towards the opinions of those who have been quick to criticize him. “I don’t care about what people say about my fashion choices,” he asserted.

During the interview, DJ Azonto further addressed the issue of his wealth, which has been a point of contention among his critics. He boldly declared, “I am richer than all the people who are insulting me online. My success speaks for itself. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am today, and I’ll continue to do so.”
