On February 8 this year, female dancehall musician Ebony involved in a fatal accident with three other people when returning from Sunyani after a family visit.

Three people in the car which included the singjay lost their lives after the unfortunate incident leaving only the driver. Hours after news of Ebony and the two others death went viral, driver of the car who is the only survivor gave an account of how they involved in the incident.

The driver speaking from his hospital bed said the whole country is crying because he tried saving a Sprinter bus from crashing. According to him, the speeding Sprinter bus after a dangerous overtaking gave him a highlight to pave way for him.

After swerving for the Sprinter to pass, Ebony‘s driver said, he realised there was a heap of sand which he also tried to swerve but Bernard Owusu, an eyewitness who was in the VIP bus Ebony’s jeep run into has described the driver as a liar judging from the account he gave.

Mr. Owusu speaking to Zionfelix.net disclosed that the accident did not involve a Sprinter bus as the driver claimed. Narrating how the unfortunate incident happened, Bernard revealed that a pothole in the middle of the road caused the accident.

According to him, one of the front tyres of Ebony’s car removed after the speeding Jeep hit the pothole. This he said made the Jeep run into the VIP bus which was conveying them from Accra to Sunyani that night.
