Ghanaian actress, Emelia Brobbey has been crowned as the Best Actor Female indigenous 2019 at ZAFAA Global Award.

Emelia earned the bragging rights after beating Ellen Kyei White and Queen Sabby Debrah to win.

She was awarded following the role she played in the ‘Asantewaa’ movie.

The actress’ plaque was received on her behalf by Evander Kwame Agyeman, director of photography for the movie ‘Asantewaa’.

The 2019 edition of the ZAFAA Global Award took place at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja hotel.

Zulu African Film Academy Awards, also known as Zafaa Global Awards, is an annual ceremony that rewards African films in the diaspora. It has been held in London, United Kingdom since its inaugural edition in 2006. The 2015 and 2016 awards were planned to be celebrated in Africa for the first time.
