Gospel musician Empress Gifty Adorye (formerly Gifty Osei) has cleared the air on speculations that she was the one who broke up with her first husband Prophet Elisha Osei.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s ‘Daybreak Hitz’s entertainment review show hosted by Andy Dosty on Monday, Empress Gifty revealed that it is never true she divorce her husband.

“No, I didn’t…he did…no me…of course… I am not the one who left our marriage…” Gifty Osei told Andy Dosty when he asked the question about their marriage.
When Andy Dosty pushed further and asked if it was infidelity on her part that led to their divorce because that is the only grounds a man of God can leave his wife, the “Jesus Over Do” singer stated it was never the case.

Empress Gifty also reiterated that she wants the issues about her divorce to remain private because it usually lands their children into trouble when they go to school after it comes up.
She also stressed that the respect for her former husband will always be there because he played a vital role in her career and life.
