Ghanaian musician, Fameye, has quickly come out to disassociate himself from the controversial comments made by an individual claiming to be his manager, Kwadwo Wood, regarding Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder of True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries (Grace Chapel).

The statements made by Mr. Wood have sparked quite a controversy in the media and the public eye in the last few hours.

Amid the reactions online, Fameye has come out to emphatically clarify that Mr. Wood is not associated with his brand and that his comments are of a personal nature.

Earlier, Kwadwo Wood raised eyebrows when he questioned the credibility of Prophet Nigel Gaisie as a man of God. He went as far as to label the prophet as a ‘thief’ who allegedly gains riches through dubious prophetic work. Mr. Wood also voiced concerns about the prophet’s mental state, suggesting that Nigel Gaisie may suffer from bipolar disorder, making his remarks unreliable.

Accusing Nigel Gaisie of being a ‘liar’ and a ‘fake prophet’ due to his prophecies not coming to pass, Kwadwo Wood shared a controversial incident involving Fameye’s supposed death prophecy. According to Wood, one of Nigel Gaisie’s junior pastors requested a financial contribution to cancel the death prophecy concerning Fameye. Wood’s emotional reaction was evident as he expressed his frustration and threatened to reveal a secret about Nigel Gaisie in the future.

In all of this, the released statement by Fameye’s official representatives stated that Mr. Kwadwo Wood’s identification as the manager of the musician is false.

The statement which was released on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, also made it clear that Mr. Wood’s comments were of a personal nature and should not be interpreted as the views or statements of Fameye.

Fameye’s management thus encouraged the public, the media, and all concerned parties to disregard Wood’s comments as they did not reflect the official position of the Fameye brand.

Read portions of the statement below: “We would like to clarify that Mr. Wood has been incorrectly referenced as the manager of the renowned artist, Fameye. We would like to emphasize that Mr. Kwadwo Wood’s comments are of a personal nature and should not be construed as the views or statements of the Fameye brand. We kindly request the public, the media, and all concerned parties to disregard any comments made by Mr. Kwadwo Wood as they are not reflective of Fameye’s stance or the values we uphold.”
