With 2019 gradually coming to an end, players in the music industry have already started the discussions about who deserves what in the Vodafone Music Awards for 2020.
While many names have already started flying round about which artiste deserve to take the most prestigious award of the night, The VGMA Artiste of the Year, panelists of Happy FM’s “showbiz Xtra’ entertainment review show hosted Doctor Cann have laughed off the suggestion that Fameye deserves to win that award.
According to them in the interview monitored by zionfelix.net, even though he has been featured on a lot of songs this year and has made some waves with his songs, his reach this year with his artistry does not merit the VGMA Artiste Of The Year title.
They further argued that the fact that Fameye’s songs are loudly blasting in speakers on the streets of Accra does not mean the situation is the same everywhere is Ghana.
One panelist also hilariously stated that Ghana is bigger than Accra and that if people believe Fameye deserves the Artiste of the Year award, then they should also mention the names of Wendy Shay or Quamina MP because they are all in the same league.
