Ghanaian musician Fancy Gadam has broken his silence on rumours claiming that a government minister or Member of Parliament (MP) has allegedly taken his girlfriend from him.

The Northern-based musician dismissed the claims as false, insisting that there is no truth to the reports circulating about his relationship.

Fancy Gadam addressed the speculation during an interview with Joy Prime host George Quaye.

The host asked the musician about reports suggesting that a politician had allegedly become involved with his partner.

“I wanna be sure. I heard some news that some minister has taken your girlfriend. Is it an MP or something? Or its wife, rather; was it?” George Quaye asked.

Fancy Gadam laughed off the question and expressed disbelief at the suggestion that another man could simply take his girlfriend.

“I’m not sure from this side. A fresh boy like this who go fit take my girlfriend? It’s not true. That one is just rumour; it’s a rumour,” he responded.

George Quaye subsequently pressed him for further clarification, but the musician remained firm in his denial.

According to Fancy Gadam, the reports are nothing more than rumours and should not be taken seriously.

“No, no, no, it’s rumour. It’s rumour, bro, na rumour be that oh, forget everybody. It no be true, it no be true at all, nothing,” he insisted.

The musician’s comments appear to have put to rest, at least from his side, the speculation surrounding his relationship and the alleged involvement of a politician.
