Loads of gratitude is just what actor cum musician, Frank Naro has for former Ghana Black Stars captain, John Mensah aka The Rock of Gibraltar, for all he did for him some years ago when they had a very strong brotherly bond even though they were not biological brothers.
Speaking with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut Show’, the talented young actor revealed that the former Sunderland player took him under his wing as a junior brother some years ago just because he felt that he was respectful and needed the big brother figure in his life. He added that this relationship he had with John Mensah saw him (Frank Naro) get his first ever land purchased for him by the fantastic defender at a suburb in Kumasi.
The ‘Abena’ singer added that even though he didn’t know what he did to deserve all these from the player, the gifts and love was continuously pouring in. Frank Naro told Zionfelix that because John Mensah was a brand ambassador for Puma at the time, he ensured that the giant company on many occasions provided him with a lot of customized attires, footwear, belts, and many other things.
The ‘Tokorum’ singer further revealed that his relationship with John Mensah also helped him to come into contact with current Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan. He stated that even though John Mensah is currently not based in Ghana, the Baby Jet Promotions boss has filled that void which was left because anytime he comes into the country he hangs out with him on a few occasions.
