Surely, you must have heard or must remember the 2012 hit song ‘Azonto Fiesta’, if you have been following the Azonto trend in Ghana.

The banger which is listed on Sound Engineer Appeitus’ musical compilation features rapper Sarkodie and singer Kesse.

The song received massive airplay and it is believed that this pushed Appeitus to even shoot a video that featured other celebrities.

But did you know that the same instrumental of the song was given to VRMG’s Edem and BBNZ’s E.L but they couldn’t deliver? Well, this is according to Appeitus, the producer of the song who later gave the tune to Sarkodie.

‘I gave it to Ayigbe Edem, I gave to 4×4, I gave it to E.L yeah… but they couldn’t deliver’.

Appeitus continued to say that the tune became an instant hit upon release after Sarkodie added his voice due to E.L, 4×4 and Edem’s inability to deliver.

‘I gave it to Sarkodie then [boom] he delivered and it became a big song’.

The sound engineer mentioned this while commenting on his recent disagreement with Ashaiman based artiste Sariki on Hitz FM.

Sariki is said to have recorded a song titled ‘Asantewaa’, produced by Appeitus in 2014 but failed to release the song till now. Due to his failure to release the song, Appeitus handed the beat to Nero X who also recorded a song with the same beat titled ‘Odo Asem’.
