The 7th edition of the annual Ghana Meets Naija concert is slated for Saturday, May 27 but even before then, Nigerian superstar Davido has gained advantage in the contest.
The singer whose ‘If’ song is currently gaining worldwide attention has had another feather in a cap. American singer, songwriter, record producer, and former professional basketball player, R.Kelly has done a cover of the ‘If’ tune originally composed by the 24-year-old American-born Nigerian recording artist.
Davido who posted the song on his instagram page could not hide his joy all because the ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ hitmaker has recorded his version of his song. The refix of ‘If’ by R.Kelly was applauded by fans of Davido who listened to the song on his instagram page.
Davido faces Shatta Wale on May 27 at this year’s Ghana Meets Naija so we at Zionfelix.net ask, will Shatta reply the first blow Davido has thrown or he will just keep calm and respond on May 27 evening?
Other artistes for this year’s event are Falz, M.anifest, Tiwa Savage, Eno and many others.
Tickets for the event expected to happen at the Accra International Conference Center are fast selling at Gh150, Gh 200 and Gh300.
