Ghana’s number of coronavirus cases has increased from 287 to 313 as at Wednesday, April 8, 2020.

This new update comes at the back of the confirmation of 26 new positive cases.

From the information zionfelix.net has picked up, this latest confirmation comes in after more contacts of COVID-19 patients were traced and their samples tested.

“Enhanced contact tracing and testing is ongoing in Ghana and has resulted in increased number of confirmed COVID-19 cases,” the Ghana Health Service said.

Also, we gather, another person have died as a result of the novel coronavirus disease.

This, therefore, takes the total number of deaths as of April 8, 2020, to 6 even though no details have been provided on the latest death.
