Predictions are fast pouring in for the various categories of the 20th anniversary of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which slated to take place at a new Dome which has been constructed by Charter House at the Accra International Conference Center.
With many key stakeholders in the entertainment industry torn between the person to win the “Artiste of The Year” as the names in the category which include Joe Mettle, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene, and King Promise, award-winning gospel musician, Gifty Adorye has settled on controversial Dancehall musician Shatta Wale as the winner of the tough category.
Empress Gifty took to her Instagram handle some moments ago to announce Shatta Wale as the winner in a post zionfelix.net sighted. She captions the video she shared: “2019 My Artist Of The Year Goes To @shattawalenima”
This may come out as a surprise to a select few, especially when there is a gospel artiste just like Empress Gifty Adorye in the category in the person of Joe Mettle.
