Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has claimed he did what led to his arrest on God’s direction.

Shatta Wale faked a gun attack on himself on October 18th after a pastor revealed a doom prophecy claiming the artiste will be shot on that day.

He was arrested on Tuesday after he turned himself in to the police. He was remanded into prison custody and was released on October 26 after court granted him a Ghc 100,000 bail.

The singer has now issued an apology to his many fans and all those who felt bad about his arrest.

In a post on Facebook apologizing to Ghanaians, Shatta Wale claimed he had to offer the sacrifice because God told him to.

He asked for forgiveness and implored his fans to turn to his upcoming GOG album.
