Legendary music producer and sound engineer, Kaywa has bemoaned the tendency of Ghanaian gospel artistes to always ask for “fŕeebies”.

The Ghanaian gospel industry doesn’t rub shoulders with the secular industry and this has been quite a puzzle for people to solve.

In an interview with Zionfelix uncut, Kaywa who is also a prophet of God said the deal breaker was excellence.

He explained most people in the gospel industry always relies on “pro bonos” rather than to be daring and very willing to invest.

He said, “Excellence needs time and process and all these can be achieved with money”.

He encouraged the gospel artistes to position themselves well just as their counterparts in the western countries so that pastors and other people do not take them for granted.
