Happy FM’s Radio Presenter, Doctar Cann has been adjudged Greater Accra ‘Radio Personality of the year’ at this year’s Foklex Media Awards.

Doctar Cann beat the likes of Akwasi Aboagye, Blakk Rasta, Kofi Kum Bilson, Afua Pokuaa and Abeiku Santana among others to emerge winner in the Greater Accra ‘Radio Personality of the year’ category at the just ended Foklex Media Awards which took place over the weekend at the National Theatre.

Known in real life as Francis Cann, Doctar Cann is the host of the award winning ‘Showbiz Xtra’ entertainment talk show on Happy FM. He has a massive cult-like following with regards to his entertainment show. Over the years, Doctar Cann has carved a niche for himself as one of the best entertainment talk show hosts in Ghana.

Speaking after the event, Doctar Cann said: “I want to thank the management of Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company (GMABC) for supporting me over the years and giving me the Happy FM platform to contribute my quota to our creative arts industry.”

We will ensure that ‘Showbiz Extra’ bags more awards for Happy FM. I would also want to express my appreciation to my listeners and fans. Without them , this wouldn’t have been possible.
