At a time most countries in the world are at serious war with the deadly coronavirus disease and as such most people have been locked up in their houses to minimize the spread of the disease, many people have called on telecommunications networks in Ghana to do something nice for their subscribers.
Most people on social media have suggested that these networks could have at least given their subscribers some free data or cheap data to enjoy themselves while at home as a way of minimizing the boredom associated with the whole lockdown.
But it seems most of the telecommunications networks in Ghana have not heard or seen all these commentaries online because they have not done anything to remotely suggest that the will give out either the free/cheap data.
On record, the CEO of a particular network recently stated in an interview with a popular radio station in Accra that if they give cheap data to their subscribers during this period, their servers will crush – can you believe that?
Anyway, their ‘wickedness’ has caught the attention of Prophet Kofi Oduro, the leader of Alabaster Ministries, who has given to them real hard.
In a video of the outspoken preacher sighted by zionfelix.net, he expressed shock that all the telecommunications networks in Ghana have been this uncharitable.
He sighted the donations of many well-meaning citizens, churches, business organizations, and many other people during this crisis period as examples they could have emulated.
Prophet Oduro also stated unequivocally that for their failure to give their followers free data to subscribers, God will judge them.
