Ghanaian gospel musician, Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye-Yiadom, otherwise known as MOG has expressed how he felt after he bagged nominations in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for the first time.

Speaking in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, MOG said earning four nominations in the 2020 VGMAs came to him as a surprise.

He stated that he would have cried if he got just one nomination.

OMG recounted how his works were snubbed when he submitted his works for the first. He nearly lost hope but his team advised that they should try again.

According to him, the self-confidence was there but he didn’t want to put much hope into it due to his first experience.

He, however, thanked God for this feat.

MOG Music was nominated in the Gospel Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artiste of the Year categories of the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
