Ghanaian rap artiste Medikal real name Samuel Adu Frimpong has made a shocking statement about Ghana’s rap music.

The ‘omo ada’ hitmaker has said that he saved Ghanaian rap music from dying four years ago. The Rapper of the year at the 20th edition of the Ghana Music Awards in a tweet zionfelix.net read boldly made it known that he has since 2015 been making rap music lively in the country led by Nana Addo.

He again promised to keep it alive because he strongly believes it will die if he does not work hard to saveit.

Medikal’s tweet has caused confusion on social media platforms with people giving divergent views. Whilst a section of the commentators agree with his comment, many others are also raining insults on him.
