Austrian-born actor of German and Ghanaian descent Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe, better known as Boris Kodjoe has made his readiness to feature in a Ghanaian movie known.
The Hollywood star in a press interaction which included Zionfelix.net at his hotel in Accra made it known that he has worked a lot outside Ghana and he believes it is time to help his own. According to him, movies have always been produced in American and distributed worldwide so it will be right for same to happen in Ghana.
“I’ve been very aware of what has been going on here in Ghana in relation to the movie industry. I’ve produced few TV shows in South Africa and few other African countries so I would love to produce some shows here . Maybe we could co-produce some movies here and bring it to America rather than the other way round because it has always been, we produce the content in America and license it to be distributed worlwide. Why not produce it here (Ghana) and distribute it worldwide” Boris told the press.
The “Real Husbands Of Hollywood” actor continued that “I’m always ready so anyone who needs me can contact my team”. Wife of Boris Kudjoe, Nicole Ari Parker-Kodjoe who is also an America actress and model added that they have already received scripts from some Ghanaian movie producers so her husband will soon be seen in a local movie.
Boris Kodjoe is in Ghana to host AITEO CAF AWARDS 2017.
Boris is set to host the star-studded event which is scheduled to take place on January 4, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
He arrived on Sunday in the company of his actress wife Nicole Ari Parker and their two children.
