Leading member of the Blackstars JAMA group, Joseph Langabel has openly disclosed that he’s very happy that Christian Atsu didn’t marry a Ghanaian lady.

Speaking in an interview with Pulse Ghana, Langabel expressed that disputes usually occur when partners pass away in the African setup and Christian Atsu’s own wouldn’t be an exception if he has married a Ghanaian woman.

In the interview, he said;

“What made me happy is that Atsu never married a Black woman,”

Because when Atsu marries a Black woman, this funeral will be dogged by controversies between both sides of the families, usually fighting for the property.

“As it stands now, there is no basis for such quarrels because Atsu’s sister will be in charge of his estate having taken care of him.

Christian Atsu was laid to eternal rest last Saturday.

A host of former Black Stars players came together to send Christian Atsu off in a befitting burial organized at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on Friday.

Former Stars skipper, Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, Godwin Attram, Augustine Ahinful, John Paintsil, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, John Mensah, and Haminu Dramani among others gathered to mourn their late former colleague.
