Kwaw Kese has taken issue with the growing tendency among social media users to turn disagreements into personal attacks, particularly when fan loyalty becomes involved.
The rapper made his concerns known on X on September 24, 2026, after reflecting on how some people have made insulting others online seem like an acceptable part of social media culture.
He observed that individuals he described as “kids” sometimes use their support for particular artistes as a reason to attack other musicians, even when the matter being discussed has no connection to them.
“So it has become a norm for people who could even be your kids to insult you when you tweet unprovoked or say something that doesn’t affect them in any way.
“And the musicians who are supposed to know better support them because they’re their fans,” he wrote.

Kwaw Kese also turned his attention to musicians who tolerate or encourage abusive behaviour from their supporters.
For him, being a fan should not become an excuse for attacking other people, especially over opinions or comments that do not directly affect the individuals involved.
The rapper went on to question the approach people take when discussing issues, suggesting that disagreements should not automatically lead to name-calling and insults.
