For some days now, the Ghanaian cedi has appreciated against the US dollar.
Speaking in a recent interview, popular actress, Nikki Samonas was concerned about how things have turned.
She bemoaned how the development is affecting businesses.
Nikki called on authorities to come out with a plan that will keep those who use the dollar to transact business informed.
“I want them to stop what they are doing. It’s like they are taking us on a rollercoaster ride. One moment it’s hey and the next moment it’s hmm. We don’t know what is going on. We want to be in control of what is going on. Even if we are not, at least we should be pre-informed, like the way they gave us the 2023 national budget. The dollar is important to us; it’s painful. We’re all affected,” she told GhanaWeb’s Elsie Lamar.
