One of the many respected personalities who wished to be at the marriage ceremony which occurred on Saturday, May 12, 2018, is the Managing Director of Angel TV and host of the station’s Purple Room show, Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah known in showbiz as Akua Ghana’s Most beautiful.
Zionfelix.net spotted the former beauty queen at Angel TV Saturday noon when the most talked about wedding was ongoing in Accra dressed in red and showing no signs of attending the big nuptial ceremony in town. In a conversation with the 2011 winner of TV3’s Ghana Most Beautiful pageant to know why she was not at Dumelo and Mawuenya’s wedding, Akua said she was not invited. The TV host, however, added that she wished to be at the event but John and wife’s inability to make a polite, formal, or friendly request to her stopped her from attending the union.
The mother of three laughed the issue off to prove that she was not worried about John Dumelo’s failure to invite her and continued that she used the time to have an interview with Metro TV’s morning ride show.
John Dumelo and Gifty Mawuenya had a traditional wedding ceremony on Saturday with several superstars in the country making their presence felt at the event.
Known faces Zionfelix.net saw at the couple’s marriage rites included Ex-Prez. Mahama, Joselyn Dumas, Jackie Appiah, Kalsoume Sinare, Yvonne Nelson, Christabel Ekeh, Ramsey Noah, Prince David Osei, Majid Michel, Yvonne Okoro, Sandra Ankobiah, Edem, Coded, A-plus and many other stars.
