The announcement was made on Saturday, August 4 at Piano Bar in Accra when a mini-concert was organised by the new label to celebrate the legendary singer. Speaking at the event organised to announce the marriage between the two parties, C.E.O of the record label, Mr. Frank Gogo vowed to invest into K.K Fosu to regain his prominence in the music business since he is their first signee.
The musician real name Kwame Kaakyire Fosu thanked the new team for their juicy offer and decision to help his brand. The artists who performed at the signing included Akwaboah, Ephraim, Kwesi Slay, Snow B and many others.
World Map Records is a new label aiming at capitalizing on the growing entertainment market across the world by producing, promoting and distributing high-quality entertainment through music and exceptional artist abilities.
