Thus, music producer Kwame Mickey has state categorically that the hit song “Defe Defe” from the camp of Team Eternity Ghana samples a track by one of his old Gospel artistes called Hallelujah Voices.

In a Facebook post, Kwame Mickey, the executive producer for Hallelujah Voices’ ‘Defe Defe’, claims that Team Eternity Ghana has infringed on his copyright by using a line in his Hallelujah Voices’ ‘Defe Defe’, for their new hit song.

Despite having distinct melodies, he claims that both songs have the same lines, composition, and arrangement.

Mickey expressed his worries on social media and urged Team Eternity to take action.

“Who is that Defe Defe Singer if I start right now them go say I am mansonia what is the defrents between the 2 songs ??? Some body tell her to report and do the needful that’s all,” he wrote on Facebook, June 17.

‘Defe Defe’ song performed by Hallelujah Voices, was written by Osuani Afrifa and executively produced by Kwame Mickey for Kaakyire Music Productions. It was released in 2004.
