Desmond Korlettey, the gifted attacker of Kenpong Football, has emphatically announced himself as one of the most promising Ghanaian talents of his generation, following a succession of dazzling and explosive performances at the recently concluded MTN Elite U-19 tournament in Prampram.

The youngster made a name for himself and became the focus of fans and scouts after consistent performances that saw him claim a historic four Most Valuable Player awards.

Korlettey, who captained the Central Regional team to a third-place finish in the tournament, laid down a marker when he excelled in the opening match against the Greater Accra Region.

The blistering start continued with MVP performances against the Northern Region and Upper East Region as he powered the Central Regional team into the semi-finals.

Korlettey, who is on the books of Kenpong Football Academy (owned by Ghanaian businessman Kennedy Agyapong), excelled in the third-place play-off and collected his fourth MVP award after inspiring the Central Regional team to a 3-0 victory over Brong Ahafo.

That performance earned him the overall MVP of the tournament—a testament to the incredible form and dedication he showed throughout the competition.

His latest accomplishments are expected to excite Kenpong, who has equipped the Winneba-based academy with top-notch infrastructure and technical staff dedicated to shaping the next generation of Ghanaian football talent.
