It was an awsome moment to be at the season 3 launch of Gh One’s Revealed With Bola Ray show which happened at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra on Thursday, May 31 this year.
The event had two of Ghana’s best live band performers entertaining patrons at the strictly by invitation event. Highgrade Family boss Samini and Lynx Entertainment signee Kidi were the surprise acts on the night.
With Asa Band ready to roll, Samini who was not pre-informed about his performance on the night was introduced on stage with instrumentals of his ‘My Own’ hit single. He called for the microphone when the beat of the reggae song started. Samini, as usual, did not disappoint with his stagecraft even though he had no idea he would perform on the night – a soldier is always ready for the battle so it did not come as a surprise to many when he ‘killed’ his performance.
Just after Samini’s showmanship was Kidi real name Dennis Nana Dwamena. The ‘Odo’ singer also displayed an exceptional stagecraft which made it difficult for us to judge the best live band performance on the night of the launch.
