Ghanaian music star, King Promise was recently nicknamed Nungua De Paul by netizens.

For the people who decided to give King Promise the name, they claimed that they found the name prudent looking at the manner the music star was supposedly following top Nigerian music star, Wizkid, wherever he goes — which is something Rodrigo De Paul does for Messi in the Argentine team.

Others have also suggested that the manner he has been relating with Wizkid in recent times also suggests that he is his boss.

However, in an interview on Hitz FM’s ‘Daybreak Hitz’ entertainment review show on Monday, the Legacy Life Entertainment signed musician stated unequivocally that Wizkid is not his boss.

He added that they are just best of friends who enjoy each other’s company.

This current brouhaha is one of the issues that have come up after King Promise and Wizkid failed to perform at the recently held “Wizkid Live” concert at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Even though the ‘Choplife’ hitmaker has released a statement to apologize and reveal why he failed to make the appearance at the concert, netizens and his fans are still angry at him.
