Lynx Entertainment’s signee, Kuami Eugene, seems to have stepped on some very wrong toes in the Garden City of Ghana. The musician who was billed to perform as headline artiste for one of the fast imaging firebrands in radio in Kumasi called Oyerepa FM, decided to deliver a performance which was very low to the expectation of organizers of the music show.

Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, host of the station’s morning political talk show, who also doubled as part of the organizers of the stations ‘Gye W’ani’ concert has taken to his Facebook wall to put on blast Kuami Eugene and his manageress. According to Nana Jantuah, Kwame Eugene was supposed to perform for one hour at the event but only performed for fifteen minutes, which is a total disrespect to the people of Kumasi in his view.

The former Kumasi FM presenter in his Facebook post sighted by zionfelix.net continues to make the point that he believes the musician decided to act this way in bad fate to the people of Kumasi because he wouldn’t have done same if he was billed for a similar show in Accra. He also establishes in his rant that he will cut the horns Kuami Eugene has decided to grow this early in his career before it gets out of hand.

However, in a very quick twist, an award-winning radio presenter with Kumasi based YFM, who is also a blogger, Nana Yaw Donkoh, who is popularly known as NYDJ has stated that Nana Jantuah and his organization are not being entirely truthful in their account to the public. According to NY, Oyerepa FM failed to pay the full amount they were supposed to pay to Kuami Eugene as was stipulated in the contract.

The former Kapital radio presenter establishes that Kuami Eugene decided to perform for only fifteen minutes because the contractual obligations were not fully fulfilled. NYDJ goes on to urge Nana Jantuah to desist from his actions which seek to create some enmity for the Rock Star and the Kumasi Media.
