Talented Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu decided to give back to the society yesterday, April 25 when he, together with his younger brother, Filla Man and other members of his team made their way to Nima, in the nation’s capital to share food and other things to the poor and needy.

The gesture, even though may be considered a small one by some people was very much appreciated by the old and young residents of the area, who could not hide their joy as they tried their possible best just to get one of the neatly packed foods from Kusaka restaurant located at Empire State Hotel, East Legon.

In a quick chat with the ‘Uncut’ show crew led by Zionfelix after giving out the food, the Kwaku Manu Educational Complex boss revealed that the decision to embark on a journey to put smiles on the faces of needy is one he believes is a call from above.

He added that even though it has begun in this small manner, there is great hope and belief that it will be expanded to help more people and probably provide a place where people who are in serious need can walk to someday and find something to eat, drink and probably rest as well.
