Kumawood actor and production assistant, Kwame Borga, has apologized to Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu and the other actresses in Kumasi who got offended by his recent utterances.
Kwame Borga was heard in a viral video claiming that about 70 percent of the actresses in the Kumasi movie industry are into hookups.

His assertion infuriated many people and got a reaction from Mercy Asiedu and eventually her husband, the chief of Kunsu, Nana Agyeman Badu I.
Mercy Asiedu and her husband in an interview granted Hello FM in Kumasi threatened to sue Kwame Borga for some derogatory remarks he made about the respected actress.

After the heat got to him, Kwame Borga in a video shared on social media on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, said he was very sorry for making those remarks.
According to him, the whole thing was meant to be a joke, however, it has turned out to be a bad joke.
He mentioned the name of Mercy Asiedu and her husband and begged that they forgive him because he is their son.
Kwame also begged all the producers and directors in the industry and promised that he was not going to do such a thing again.
