The much-awaited song of the year is here and it’s in the form of a sensual collaboration from BET nominee Kwesi Arthur and Dancehall act Shatta Wale.

The year in music has been amazing. We’ve enjoyed great songs and we’ve witnessed them rock the industry. One would have thought nothing else would make waves until next year but King of the street Kwesi Arthur has surprised us once again with this amazing song called “African Girl”.

This song is the kind you put on repeat without regrets. It is smooth with a gentle flow, it mirrors good vibes and it carries an amazing groove. Kwesi released some lit vocals in there, making the hook very catchy in a way everyone can roll with. Then Shatta, like we know him to do best, went cool, switched the flow a bit and kill his part.

The video scores a plus in cinematography. It is well directed with beautiful scenes having a stretch from the ones we usually see. It is simple and each scene tells it’s a story in relation to the song itself. This will definitely be front and center in conversations, charts, and playlists. In all, it is characteristically well-produced track.
