Management of dancehall artiste Ebony has revealed that the songstress did not plan her trip to Sunyani with them, Rufftown Records, and Midas Touch.
Bullet and Allan who move around with the ‘Maame Hwe’ singer in a chat with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s Drive Time Monday evening disclosed that the musician only informed them about a trip to the Northern Region but not Sunyani. According to Bullet, his late artiste apprised him about a trip to Tamale in the Northern Region but he had no idea about the day and time for the journey.
Allan, one of the team members also mentioned that Ebony called him on Wednesday evening informing him about her journey that same night to the Northern Region but not Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region. Allan further said he asked the singjay real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng why she called to inform him about the trip at a late hour but no tangible reason was given.
When Abeiku Santana asked why none of the team members joined her on the drive, Allan replied that Ebony did not plan the trip with any management member so they had no idea about it.
Ebony died in an accident with two others when returning from Sunyani after a family visit.
Ebony’s One-Week celebration happens on February 18 this year.
