Astute radio presenter, Andy Dosty has said it is not in order for Mercury Quaye, the boss is the annual Ghana DJ Awards to ban DJ Black from the scheme.

Airing his opinion on Hitz Fm’s ‘DayBreak’ show which was monitored by zionfelix.net, Andy stated that it will be disrespectful to the scheme’s board if he does not consult them before taking such a decision.

“I disagree with that statement and I think the board needs to sit on it. It’s a decision taken by him. If indeed Mercury has respect for the board, let the board decide or discuss with the board and let the board come out with such statement or agree. Don’t just go out publicly and make an announcement that you’ve vowed, Nah! Nah!!!” he said.

Andy Dosty added: “DJ Black has done very well and he has served and he needs that respect and recognition. For me, I totally disagree with Mercury Quaye. Honestly, this is my opinion…my candid opinion.”

His comment follows a vow made the organizer of Ghana DJ Awards that his outfit won’t nominate DJ Black again.

Mercury Quaye told Zion Felix in an interview on Radio Univers’ ‘Brunch2Lunch’ Entertainment how that the action was as a result of a request made by DJ Black.
