American-Ghanaian-Liberian actor, Michael Blackson has called out the Ghana Revenue Authority for charging exorbitant duties.

The actor revealed that he shipped clothes worth $10,000 to his unemployed cousins in Ghana so they can sell and earn something for themselves.

The clothes were sent through DHL and to his (Blackson) surprise, the revenue authority asked him to pay a duty of $10,000 on the goods.

The US-based actor wrote in the tweet that it makes no sense to pay the same amount of money it cost him to acquire the goods as duty.

He called out the GRA for making things difficult for those of them who love the country and are trying to help build it.

The actor also swore to fight the system which he believes is unfairly mistreating the poor.
