 Moesha Apologizes For Her ‘Dumb’ Comment After Cardi B ‘Meet And Greet’ Snub

Ghanaian actress/model, Moesha Buduong has apologized for her unguarded comments which tagged Ghanaians as dumb.

Following the Cardi B ‘meet and greet’ fiasco that led a section of Ghanaian celebrities being stranded for so many hours at the Kempinski Hotel last weekend, Moesha who was not happy about the excessive mockery targeted at her and others involved angrily stated that Ghanaians are so dump and are best known for destroying their own.

“You are laughing today right? Tomorrow, it will be your turn and you will see what our own Ghanaians will do to you. Ghanaians destroy their own. What’s the big deal about this? Is anyone saying that if they were invited to meet Cardi B, they won’t show up? Ghanaians are so dumb. Why do we pride in destroying ourselves? Fucked up country and fucked up citizens,” her post read.

But upon a sober reflection, the actress has called on Ghanaians to forgive her.

“Some of my colleagues were laughing and writing things on social media. That’s what got me angry. I didn’t mean everyone but most people are very hateful in Ghana, we like to bring each other down… I’m gonna come out and apologise to everyone,” she reportedly said in an interview with MzGee on 3FM’s ShowBuzz chanced upon by

Despite the apology, Moesha insisted that the numerous public mockeries were not necessary.
