Veteran Ghanaian musician, Kofi Nti has thrown shots at some new talents in the industry.

The ‘Rakia’ composer said in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM which was monitored by Zionfelix.net that he has been performing at events for so many years despite not releasing hit songs.

He hinted that the last time he released a hit song was about 15 to 17 years now—and that has not stopped him from being invited to shows.

Kofi Nti argued that most of the new crop of artistes won’t be invited to perform at events if they do not get hit songs for two years.

He mentioned Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba and others who are performing at events without releasing hit songs for a while.

Kofi Nti added that there is nothing like his time has passed.

He advised the young talents to check their life if they cannot stay relevant without hit songs.
