Management of actress Maame Serwaa has assured her fans that the December 30 event, A Day With Maame Serwaa expected to happen at the Afua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra will still come off despite her mother’s death.

Mark Tetteh, a member of the team speaking to Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch entertainment show Tuesday afternoon disclosed that the show cannot be canceled at this time. He explained that fans of the actress have bought tickets for the show so it will not be right to announce that it will not take place as notified.

“A lot have already gone into it and we were still on the process when her mother’s death happened. People think the event will not come off because of her mum’s death but we want them to know that it will happen whether hook or crook”. Mark told Zionfelix.

Mr. Tetteh further disclosed that management of the actress has heard from certain quarters that the show will not take place but that is false. Asked if the Kumawood star real name Clara Benson is in good mood for the show, he replied that the teenage actress was affected by her mum’s death but is gradually recovering from the shock.

“Her mother’s death affected her at the early stages but she is gradually recovering from the shock. We will even start the promotion very soon. We have been to other schools to sell tickets so we cannot disappoint the kids.”

Renowned actors and musicians Mark said will support Maame Serwaa at the December 30 event are Yaw Dabo, Opanka, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Emelia Brobbey, Kwaku Manu, LilWin, Bill Asamoah and many others.

The December 30 concert is part of the actress’ Girl Child education program. As part of the campaign, Maame Serwaa’s foundation will enroll ladies found on the streets in school and pay for their fees.

The 18-year-old actress lost her mother, Rose Benson on Thursday, December 7, 2017. The one-week celebration of the late happened on Sunday, December 17 at Atwima Koforidua in the Ashanti Region. Actors, directors, make-up artists, producers, and many other Kumawood moviemakers drove to the one-week celebration to mourn with Maame Serwaa. Popular faces Zionfelx.net spotted at the one-week celebration were Vivian Jill Lawrence, Tracey Boakye, Samuel Nyamekye, Louisa Adinkra and many others
