Samuel Adu Frimpong, a Ghanaian rapper, known widely as Medikal, is not perturbed if he does not win awards.
In 2017, Medikal had seven (7) nominations for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, unfortunately, he did not win any.
Speaking in an interview with Jay Forley on 3Music TV, the AMG rapper maintained that he is not focusing much on awards.
He admitted that winning an award is good, but it is not a top priority for him.

Medikal sees music as his passion.
He stressed that he is doing music to entertain his fans.
With the aim of entertaining his fans through music, the popular rapper said he found out he can get money from it.
He advised musicians not to get depressed over awards.
