Tony Robinson is a Ghanaian based Nigerian Afro-Dancehall/Afrobeat performing and recording artist/music producer. Tony Robinson was born in Ikeja, Lagos on September 13th.
Traveling between the UK, South Africa and Ghana. Tony Robinson has experienced different cultures but still stays true to his roots and this is evident in his music and the people he considers his biggest influences musically are, Busy Signal, Movado, Vybez Kartel 2face Idibia, and Don Jazzy.Though Tony Robinson started music professionally a year ago, he has been performing and making music since 2004 Featuring and performing with the likes of Tony Tetuila, Tic Tac, VVIP , 2face and to mention a few. Tony Robinson Shot to stardom in the Ghanaian music industry in May 2016 when he dropped the Audio and video for his first single titled PROBLEM which featured the Legendary Award winning Ghanaian Rapper TIC TAC.
He followed up with IF YOU DON’T MIND with production credit going to D-BLACK’s Black Avenue Musik’s award-winning producer, DJ Breezy who is popularly known for producing hits for the likes of Patoranking, DJ Jimmy Jat, Shatta wale, Manifest, Skales, Joey B to mention a few. He further dropped a 3rd single Titled MR DEBE DEBE.
This 2017 Tony Robinson finally drops the much anticipated Audio & Video for hit song “Go Down Low” which is off his first unreleased 9 track Album titled F.A.M.E. The Video was shot in the suburb of Accra, precisely Jamestown where there’s a beautiful display of creative and eye appealing African graffiti works together with scenes from mother earth (the beautiful sea view).
The video was directed by 5teven Films, and Audio produced by Dr Ray Beatz.
