Ghanaian-Australian-based musician NY Melody has donated a fully equipped sick bay to the Michael Blackson Academy in Agona Nsaba.

The musician who is gradually making a name for himself because of his philanthropic efforts, stocked the facility with essential medical supplies, equipment, and a wide range of drugs to cater to the health needs of students.

The sick bay is set to provide first aid, basic health services, and a place for students to rest when unwell.

A video of the kind gesture surfaced online today, Sunday, May 4, 2025, capturing the joyful reactions of students and staff as they toured the new facility.

The footage also shows children cheering with excitement and gratitude.

In the video, the school’s manager extended heartfelt thanks to NY Melody, saying, “We are incredibly grateful to NY Melody for this generous donation. This sick bay will go a long way to support the health and well-being of our students. We promise to put it to good use and ensure that it serves its intended purpose.”

NY Melody’s latest act of kindness follows his earlier pledge to support brilliant but needy students in Ghana.
