After days of silence on rapper Kwaw Kese’s accusations that the Musicians Union of Ghana, MUSIGA is corrupt owing to the fact that it failed to invite musicians to the 2017 Presidential Grand Ball, top officials of the music body has replied him.

The communication team for MUSIGA at a press soiree on Friday evening in Accra answering a question Zionfelix.net asked explained why they did not invite top artistes like Kwaw Kese, Sarkodie, Ohemaa Mercy, Shatta Wale, others to the event which happened on December 29, 2017.

According to them, tables for the Grand Ball are sold for Gh 10,000 so musicians who want to attend should purchase one.

This reply had most media men at the event talking because they thought it is not right for artistes to pay before attending show organised for them.

The first MUSIGA press conference for 2018 was held to brief the media plans the outfit has outlined for the year.
