Kumawood actor, Sylvester Agyapong popular known as Sly has blasted Ghanaian prophets who have consistently scared their members and especially the celebrities in Ghana with death prophecies. According to him, it is believed that any true Christian who dies is expected to go to heaven and enjoy and for that matter, they should desist from scaring people death prophecies.

Sly stressed that these prophets are liars because the Bible they use to preach states categorically in the book of Jeremiah 14:14 that God does not speak to anybody directly. He emphasized that all these prophecies they always put out there to scare their members are from their heads and not from God. As such, the constant fear these so-called prophets put into their members are false and should not be taken seriously.

In the interview with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show, he threatened that if any pastor dares call him with any death prophecy, he will make sure that he deals with him squarely. He questioned the likes of Prophet Nigel Gaisie, Eagle Prophet and the many other prophets who always get the attention of the media space with their death prophecies if they will never die.

Sylvester ended his firing of these prophets by calling on people who believe in them to try and use their common sense instead of depending on these ‘fake’ prophets. He also urged them to be cautious in the things they do and have the faith that should they die today, it is their destiny and not because of some fake prophecy.
