Popular actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was in Ghana over the weekend for the fifth edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) and after her visit to the country, she took to her Instagram handle to ask some questions of her mother country, Nigeria.

The singer, philanthropist and former model in the post sighted by zionfelix.net expresses total shock as to why in her home country in as much as the currency looks totally huge when it is in hand, does little or nothing at all for the individual. She reveals in the post that she changed N 10, 000 and had just a mere GH 120 Cedis but she was able to use the mere Gh120 to do more than she can ever use the huge 10,000 Naira for.

Omotola further expresses shock that her phones she forgot to pick up while signing her immigration cards were not stolen at the airport but was just lodged at the guest service for her to go and pick. In essence, the beautiful actress is saying that if it was her motherland, the phone would have definitely gone missing. The top actress also mentioned the Kotoka International Airport as another advancement in Ghana which is totally lacking in her country but failed to talk about it too much because the super talented musician  2Face (Tubaba) had done that honors already.

The award-winning actress quotes popular Ghana Must Go adage and asks if it is this adage that has helped Ghana to move that fast in terms of improvement.

Omotola also questioned the adage which seeks to refer to her home country, Nigeria,  as the Giant of Africa and asks if it is really the case.

“Okay… So Economists , come and analyze oh… this Amongst other things was quite alarming on my trip to Ghana.
Hmm… I changed N10,000 (Ten thousand Naira) and it was only worth …..
C120 ( One hundred and twenty cedis)
Not C1,200 and certainly not 12,000 cedis but a mere 120 cedis!!!
1 dollar in ghana is 4.8 cedis !
#Ghanamustgo and they have Gone, are they moving faster than us?
I don’t want to talk about the airport , Tubaba has already talked about that but I forgot both my phones while signing the immigration cards, about 10mins later, it was announced to pick them up at guest services! Ha!
#GiantofAfrica ? #Getbusy #Getbusy #Getbusy ???. Abi? I’m I missing something?” Omotola wrote.
