Multiple award-winning Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, well known as Shatta Wale, has stated that musicians in the country won’t be treated the same as they treat Nigerian musicians in Ghana.

He reiterated the over pampering nature of Ghanaians to foreigners when speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.

In a video chanced upon by Zionfelix.net, the SM bigwig stated no Nigerian artiste will even go close to the hotel of a Ghanaian musician if they are in Nigeria.

The ‘Melissa’ composer bemoaned there are a lot of top artistes in Ghana who have not gotten the mileage that Wizkid, Burna Boy and others have gotten.

He stressed that there are many talented artistes with good songs in the country-but their attitudes towards the work are being lacked.

Shatta Wale was resolute on why he takes the music business with all the seriousness it deserves.

He entreated Ghanaian musicians to keep doing their jobs without relaxing.
