Following the motion moved by the Honorable Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga.
It is inarguably significant for students at the various tertiary institutions to unanimously campaign Nationwide for the government to scrapt or suspend payment of the fees for 2020/2021 academic year.
This is as a result of the periles accompanied by the covid 19 and the banking sector clean ups.
This is a national concern which must not be politicized as our honorable members in parliament have commenced.
The COVID-19 relief funds is more than sufficient to rescue the complaints associated with the payment of admission fees for freshers and continuing students this year.
It is extremely important that the SRC executives together with the student body demonstrate vehemently on the streets of Ghana to attract the attention of the President.
The loudmouth politician Mr Mahama Ayariga’s motion must be upheld and critically scruntinized and not relegated.
The most pathetic aspect is the increment in fees for the 2020/2021 academic year not considering the periles accompanied by the COVID such as lockdown, extreme collapse of businesses etc.
Let’s arise and move to the streets of GH and join the NO SCHOOL FEES CAMPAIGN.
